Mission:
The women’s programming component of SpokenExistence, Inc. will
provide programming and resources for Black women to enable them to
live healthy, enriched, self-sufficient, and violence-free lives.
Vision:
Through gatherings, workshops, seminars, and conferences Black
women will embrace and acknowledge their self-worth, dignity, and
pride. They will also be proactive in creating their destiny and seeking
out resources that foster that result.

- Sista Soul Sista (Women’s Retreat)
- Stop Running From Yourself (Creative/Artistic ways to build a
healthy self-esteem)
- Express Yourself…(Writing workshops to help women establish
and use their ‘voice’)
- Outside the Context of the United States- Expanding your
horizons. (The African Diaspora)
- Healthy Relationships… (friendships, work, sexual, and platonic)
- My Body… (Black women’s place/role in society, sexuality, body
image, media portrayal of Black women.)
- Family…(What constitutes a family, and its role in today’s society?)
- Violence Against Women…(Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse, and
Verbal Abuse)
- Pampering Me…(stress relievers)
